As per the Khushi & Farman Mubarak of Aali Qadr Moula (TUS), the KKG had organized a Seminar on “Settlement & Business Opportunities in Jaffna”. This was held on 6th Nov 2012, from 7 PM onwards, at the 2nd Floor of Qutbi Hall, with a turnout of over 200 participants & guests, including a Delegation of 9 Businessmen from India who had flown down specifically to attend this seminar.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Minister Douglas Devananda (Minister of Traditional Industries and Small Enterprises Development) and Janab Amil Saheb Sh Yusuf Bhai, both of whom addressed the gathering as well. There were presentations and speeches by Mr Panduka Weerasinghe (General Manager – Browns Group, Batteries & Agricultural Division), Mr Aasim Mukthar (General Manager LECS / Representative of the Jaffna Chamber of Commerce), Mr V K Khandelwal (Chairman Kect Group of Companies) and Sh Shabbir Bhai Sh Abidali Jafferjee (Representative of the Zaini Committee).
